PALSD is organizating a trial reenactment of Oyama v. California, the landmark United States Supreme Court case that successfully challenged California’s Alien Land Law. It has significance to our San Diego community because it involved Kajiro Oyama, a Japanese American farmer, who purchased land in Chula Vista in the 1930s.
